Fearless Faith: A Sacred Ground Pilgrimage to St. Paul's Church

Spend a morning at St. Paul’s Church in Sacramento delving into the history of the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California’s first congregation through the Sacred Ground lens of race and faith. Who first claimed the land the church was founded on? How did redevelopment affect communities of color in the neighborhoods around St. Paul’s? How has the cycle of life – birth, growth, death, rebirth – informed its outlook today? What is to be learned? Lamented? Celebrated? Explore these questions and more with Bishop Megan Traquair, the Rev. Rik Rasmussen and Preservation Sacramento’s Bill Burg, among others.

Date: Saturday, April 13

Time: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Location: St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1430 J St. (Corner of 15th and J), Sacramento
